The Asian and Oceanic Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology was held in Auckland, New Zealand in 2009.
RANZCOG was successful in it's bid to host the event which required a huge amount of effort from a consortium of various parties, including Auckland Convention Center and Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ).
As a result, there were more than 2,000 attendees from more than 25 countries, presenting themselves at the Congress.
This was a welcome injection for the Auckland CBD, despite it only being for a 3-4 day period.
